I’m newly divorced and I was asked the How’s single life? and Are you dating anyone?’ This is a nosy person and I didn’t feel like sharing anything at all, just a line to deflect the question. Give me some lines to use to not appear annoyed but to redirect the question to their new shoes or their cat or something.

just tell this person that you are not ready to discuss you’re personal life with any one and you hope she or he will understand.Don’t back down and just keep repeating it.then there is the Standard answer of just fine and leave it at that.
